GasSaver Technology

We are a British innovator of energy saving technologies including super condensing GasSaver technology.

From April 2018, the Government’s Boiler Plus legislation, part of the Clean Growth Strategy, stipulates that when a gas combination boiler is installed, one of four energy saving technologies will be mandatory as part of that installation.

Our product is one of the four Boiler Plus energy saving technologies and has the capability of saving households up to £180 per year.

Not only does this deliver substantial savings for consumers but it also brings the SAP rating on new builds down to such a level that other more costly energy efficiency measures can be dispensed with.

With over 23 million homes heated by natural gas and an increasing penetration of combination boilers, FGHR is a system that can play a crucial role in boosting energy efficiency in the UK, resulting in a cleaner environment and lower energy bills for consumers.

What does this mean for you?

The GasSaver dramatically improves SAP ratings on new builds by reducing the Dwelling Emission Rate (DER). This enables builders and developers to dispense with other more expensive energy efficiency measures and build the same standard of housing for a much lower cost.

From April 2018 any gas combi boiler you install must comply with Boiler Plus. A boiler fitted with the GasSaver FGHR system is the best kind of boiler to recommend to your customers because it requires no user interaction, improves energy efficiency by as much as 31% and reduces gas and water bills.

Only the GasSaver ‘super condensing’ stored FGHR system will save an estimated £180 per annum on household gas and water bills. This compares to a saving of only £9 per annum for a standard FGHR system. The GasSaver requires no interaction – once the boiler is installed you’ll immediately start saving both energy and money.
